Overview
Ring Cell Manipulator for installing large rings in a VTL
Positech has designed a Ring Cell Manipulator that rides on a gantry system. The Manipulator has all axis measured so it can pick the ring from stack and then an operator picks a VTL that needs to be loaded and holds a control and follows the vertical lift while it drives to the VTL that has been defined. Once the turning operation has been completed the vertical lifter can then be moved into position and picks the ring up and rotates it 180 degrees and places it back into position to allow a second operation on the part.
A maintenance platform has been added to the top to allow easy access to the power unit and electric panel.
