Problem:
Different diameter and height of plaster molds. Molds are manually handled, rotated, and transferred. End user would like to easily handle the molds in a safe manner that protects both the operator and product handled.
Application:
Pick up a two-piece mold from a table, rotate it 180° and place it on a slide tray in front of a press.
Solution:
Pneumatic balancer mounted on a LodeRail bridge crane system. Hook-hung dual actuated pneumatic gripper with manual rotation through the “V” shaped jaw designed as compact as possible to save vertical space. Jaw pad material is a thick open cell material used to grip and retain both the mold and the ring.
